Julia’s high school canceled class for the solar eclipse, but for Blaine, it was just another school day. With the day off, Julia decided to bring lunch to her friend Meredith—who's very cute friend Blaine was sitting at the same lunch table. And just like that (after a few weeks of Blaine asking Mer for Julia's Snapchat) a great love story began!

First picture together! Julia brought Blaine to a friend's birthday party to introduce him to all her friends. And of course, everyone loved him.

Blaine made things boyfriend/girlfriend official at the Cumming Fair. The fish we won didn't last long, but thankfully the relationship did!

Spent our first half a year going to school dances, Blaine's baseball games, youth group, Julia's chorus concerts, and everything in between.

Julia graduated high school and got ready to move for college.

Blaine started his senior year and visited Julia in Athens often. Game days were the best together!

Julia made the drive back to Duluth often as well and we made the most of Blaine's last year as the student section "Pack Leader."

Blaine graduated and we spent the summer getting excited for him to join Julia in Athens!

We spent the next year living it up in college together! Blaine joined Kappa Sigma and Julia was on the exec board for Alpha Chi.

"The Covid Summer." We were usually together at the lake or the beach. Cherishing our time together and Blaine secretly being relieved that Julia's Italian study abroad summer was cancelled.

Back to Athens for another school year and we lived right across the parking lot from each other!

Julia got a summer internship down in Jacksonville while Blaine worked at the Graduate Hotel in Athens for the summer. It was a lot of driving up and down I-95. The visits were so fun!

Kicked off Julia's last semester by road-tripping to Indianapolis to see the Dawgs beat Bama to become National Champs!!

Julia said a bittersweet goodbye to Athens and got ready to move to Charlotte. Blaine geared up for his senior year.

Blaine spent much of the next year coming to visit Julia in Charlotte. And Julia made sure to make it the Most. Fun. Ever. so that Blaine would be excited to move there too ;)

2023 was a fun one- from friends' engagement showers, to lake days, to concerts, to Dawgs games. We really soaked it all in and got to spend a lot of weekends together!

Blaine graduated! Now it was time to find a job-- hopefully in Charlotte. Let the networking begin!

Blaine landed a great job in Charlotte and moved up in the spring. Finally in the same city again!

Summer '24, the summer of LOVE! Had each other as hot dates to so many of our wonderful friends' weddings.

On a 7 year anniversary trip to Charleston, Blaine popped the question!

Now, we are joyfully preparing for marriage—leaning on the Lord and seeking His wisdom to build a foundation rooted in faith! This season has been the sweetest gift, shaping us for the covenant ahead. We can’t wait to celebrate His goodness and our love with our favorite people—see y’all at the chapel!
